A booking request is a way for the customer to confirm the availability of the activity with the dive operator. The booking request is simply a request. The dive center must accept it before the customer can make payment.
Where to find new bookings?
Via the Scubago Partner Center, the dive center is able to view and manage bookings. In addition, the dive center will also receive an email with the booking request.
When a new booking request arrives, a notification badge is visible next to the "bookings" tab. In the inbox, you can click on any of the records to view the details or reply to the customer.
After opening the booking request, the full request becomes visible.
Upon confirming that you can accommodate the booking request (date, # of pax, diving activity), you can accept the booking via the "accept" button:
Under customer request, any special requests are visible that the customer entered when making the booking request.
You can reply to this request and further communicate with the customer via the messaging box on the left side of the screen. The customer will receive messages both via email and in his Scubago account.
What happens after I accept the booking request?
Accepting a booking will send an email to the guest with a secure link to a payment page where he can pay the required deposit. Once the payment is received, both the dive center and the customer will receive a confirmation message.
What happens if the guest does not pay the deposit?
In the next 24 and 48 hours after you have accepted the booking, the customer will automatically receive reminder emails to pay the required deposit. If no payment is received after 72 hours, the booking will automatically expire and there is nothing further you need to do.
What if I cannot accept the booking request?
If you are unable to accommodate the request at all (such as your calendar is full), then you may decline the request.
If you are unable to accommodate the request as is but will be able to accommodate it with changes (such as changing the date, adding pax or fees, etc), then you may edit the request.
