What to Do When You Receive a Booking Request from a Customer:
When a customer clicks on “Book Now” on your Scubago page, you will immediately receive an email notification (to the email you used to register your Scubago account).
A booking request is NOT yet an official booking. This is simply a request to book a diving course/package.
You must always do one of 3 things for each booking request:
- Accept
Click Accept if you agree to the number of pax, date of the trip/course, and the price of the package. - Edit
Click Edit if you need to make changes to the booking request, such as adding gear rental charges or changing the trip date.
- Decline
Click Decline if you cannot provide the requested service.
If there are any messages from the customer within the booking request, please be sure to respond to their question.
You may type your reply in the text box and click on “send message”
If you are not ready to accept, edit or decline a booking until you collect more information, you may communicate with the customer in the messaging until you are ready to do so.
Note: If you do not accept, edit, or decline a booking within 96 hours of the customer’s last reply, the booking request will automatically be “declined.”
Once you have Accepted, Edited, or Declined a booking request, there is nothing further you need to do.
If the customer confirms the booking by paying the deposit, you will receive a confirmation email and the status of the booking will become “confirmed”
